These General Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Fuelnode mobile application (the "App"), the website fuelnode.fr (the "Site"), the AI-generated sports nutrition protocols (the "Protocols"), and the subscription-based delivery of sports nutrition products (the "Box" or "Boxes").

Any natural person who creates an account and uses the App is referred to as the "User" or "Subscriber." By creating an account, the User acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these Terms in their entirety.
Fuelnode is a sports nutrition personalization and product delivery service. Fuelnode is not a healthcare provider, medical device, dietitian practice, or pharmaceutical service. The Protocols are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended solely as general sports nutrition guidance for healthy adults engaged in endurance sports activities.
2.1 Free tier — The Free tier provides access to the onboarding quiz, basic macro targets, weekly learning cards, and a race calendar. No physical products are delivered. No payment is required.
2.2 Amateur subscription — The Amateur subscription includes a weekly delivery of 8 curated sports nutrition products, a personalized AI-generated weekly fueling protocol, product-specific science cards, and QR-linked feedback functionality. Delivery occurs weekly via Mondial Relay point relais (default) or home delivery at an additional charge.
2.3 Performance subscription — The Performance subscription includes the same 8-product Amateur base box plus 2 additional performance-support products, a weekly adaptive AI-generated protocol with specialist trigger activation, wearable integration (Garmin Connect, Apple Health), post-race feedback loops, protocol changelog tracking, and seasonal inserts. Delivery occurs weekly.
2.4 Elite subscription — The Elite subscription includes the same 8-product Amateur base box plus 9 premium products as a 14-day fueling block, nutritionist coaching notes, A-race kits included at no additional charge, priority WhatsApp support, quarterly branded accessories, and a premium brand mix. Delivery occurs every two weeks.
2.5 Race packs — Race Packs are one-time purchases available to all Users (subscribers and non-subscribers). Each Race Pack contains products and a protocol tailored to a specific race distance: Semi-Marathon, Marathon, Ultra/Trail, or Ironman. Race Packs are non-subscription and do not auto-renew.
2.6 AI-generated protocols — Protocols are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude API, Anthropic Inc.) based on the User's profile data, training information, dietary preferences, and feedback. Free Users may refresh their protocol every 24 hours. Paid subscribers may request a protocol refresh every 5 minutes. Weekly or biweekly cadence applies to box delivery depending on tier, not to protocol generation. The AI system is not a certified dietitian, nutritionist, or medical professional. Protocol outputs represent algorithmic recommendations based on publicly available sports nutrition science and the User's self-reported data.
The User must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of metropolitan France (or within the applicable delivery zone) to subscribe. By creating an account, the User warrants that the information provided is accurate, complete, and current. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Each account is personal and non-transferable.
Fuelnode reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account created with false or misleading information, or used in violation of these Terms.
4.1 Pricing — Current subscription prices are displayed in the App and on the Site at the time of subscription. All prices are stated in euros (€), inclusive of applicable VAT (TVA). Delivery charges, if any, are displayed separately before payment confirmation.
Annual prepay discounts apply: −10% (Amateur), −12% (Performance), −15% (Elite). Prices may be revised with 30 days' prior notice.
4.2 Payment — Payment is processed via Stripe. Accepted methods include credit/debit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Subscription payments are charged automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle (biweekly or weekly depending on tier). The User authorizes recurring charges by subscribing.
4.3 Failed payments — In the event of a failed payment, Fuelnode will attempt to process the charge up to three additional times over seven days. If payment remains unsuccessful, the subscription is suspended and delivery paused until the payment method is updated.
5.1 Sans engagement — no commitment. All subscriptions operate on a sans engagement (no commitment) basis. The User may cancel at any time via the App, the Site, or by contacting support@fuelnode.fr. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No cancellation fees apply.
5.2 Pause — Users may pause their subscription for up to 4 cumulative weeks per calendar year. Pausing suspends both billing and delivery. The pause may be activated via the App. Resumption occurs automatically at the end of the pause period or manually at the User's request.
5.3 Tier changes — Users may upgrade or downgrade their subscription tier at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately (with pro-rata billing adjustment). Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Product selection and protocol frequency adjust accordingly.
6.1 Delivery methods — Default delivery is via Mondial Relay point relais. Home delivery is available at an additional charge of €2.50 per box. Delivery is currently available within Paris and Île-de-France. Expansion to France métropolitaine is planned for a subsequent phase.
6.2 Delivery schedule — Boxes are assembled based on the User's delivery day preference and shipped to arrive by that day. Fuelnode aims for consistent delivery schedules but cannot guarantee exact delivery dates due to carrier constraints. Delivery delays caused by the carrier do not entitle the User to a refund, though Fuelnode will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly.
6.3 Missing or damaged deliveries — The User must report any missing, damaged, or incorrect box within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date by contacting support@fuelnode.fr. Fuelnode will replace affected products or issue a credit at its discretion. Claims made after 48 hours may not be honored.
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Code de la consommation, the User has a right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the first Box.
To exercise this right, the User must notify Fuelnode by email at support@fuelnode.fr or via the withdrawal form available in the App, within the 14-day period. Products must be returned unused, sealed, and in their original condition. Perishable products and products that have been opened, partially consumed, or whose seal has been broken are excluded from the right of withdrawal pursuant to Article L221-28 of the Code de la consommation.
Upon valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, Fuelnode will refund the User within 14 days of receiving the returned products, using the same payment method as the original transaction. Return shipping costs are borne by the User.
Fuelnode curates products from third-party sports nutrition brands. Each product's ingredient list, allergen information, and nutritional values are those provided by the manufacturer. Users are solely responsible for verifying product labels before consumption, particularly with respect to allergens.
While the AI protocol respects the dietary restrictions indicated by the User during onboarding (e.g., vegan, sans gluten, sans lactose, sans noix), the User must verify that each product's labelling is consistent with their individual dietary needs and medical requirements. Cross-contamination risks at the manufacturing level are beyond Fuelnode's control.
Fuelnode does not manufacture any products. All products are sourced from established, certified manufacturers operating under French and European food safety regulations (Règlement CE 852/2004, Règlement UE 1169/2011). Fuelnode's liability is limited to the curation and delivery of products; product safety and compliance remain the responsibility of the respective manufacturers.
All content within the App and Site — including the Fuelnode brand, logos, AI-generated protocols, science cards, protocol cards, educational content, algorithms, software, and design elements — is the exclusive property of Fuelnode or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with the services described herein. Reproduction, redistribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
AI-generated protocols are provided for the User's personal use only. Sharing, reselling, or commercially distributing protocols is prohibited.
Fuelnode provides sports nutrition guidance and product curation services. Fuelnode does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The User acknowledges and agrees that:
Fuelnode's aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Fuelnode shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App or consumption of delivered products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable French law.
Fuelnode shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations under these Terms resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, carrier disruptions, supplier shortages, or internet/infrastructure failures. In such cases, the affected obligation is suspended for the duration of the event.
Fuelnode reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email and/or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If the User does not agree, they may cancel their subscription before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution. The User may refer a dispute to a certified consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) in accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the Code de la consommation. The designated mediator's contact details will be provided upon request and are available on the Site.
Failing amicable resolution, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
